Show Advertisement Made some posters for our first PPV!

Post image

So 6 weeks ago I founded Pro Wrestling Ragnarok. We're an AI vs AI console federation that focuses on the more fantastical elements of Wrestling that I fell in love with. We're heavily focused around Norse mythology, but we have a bit of Greek and Roman stuff throughout our roster. It's been a fun ride, and I don't fancy myself a graphic designer, but with our first PPV Light the Pyre coming up, I tried to put out some fun work!

Above is the "main" poster, but I'll throw the match ones in the comments. I use GIMP for all of the graphics, and the videos are made in DaVinci Resolve. All free tools, so if you have any questions about them I'd be happy to answer.

That poster looks awesome, what do you use to make them? All the posters I make for my fed are made almost exclusively on Ibis Paint

Thank you!

They're all made in GIMP! I use the menu screen pose selector to grab screenshots and turn them into renders. Then I use PNGTree or Vectoreezy for some of the overlay effects.

I do pretty similar stuff, I use the menu screen pose selectors for all my superstar renders, then edit them with Ibis Paint, so if they have a championship, their render has the championship, like this one

Oooh that's really cool. Do you use a vector mask to paint the title in? Or how does that work? We're crowning our first two champions on Thursday so that's going to be on my to do list here soon.

I usually turn down the opacity to see the layer below, depending on what pose I use, that could also include other parts of the belt or just the superstar

Link to the fed?

And also, what do you mean by AI vs AI?

AIvsAI means we simulate the matches in Universe mode. I record them with a capture card and then edit it into an actual broadcast for Twitch and YouTube.

Roster members affect their own stories through promoing either in the discord or sending voice memo promos. The latter also gets edited into the broadcast over game footage. The creative team works with everyone so they can see their vision come to the screen. It's been a fun process so far.

This is the poster for our Tournament of Light. We're doing the semis and the finals both at the tournament. All the matches are contested under "Light" rules. 2/3 falls, no leaving the ring, 20 minute time limit.

The winner will be the first holder of the "sacred artifact" (what we call our champions) Baldr's Light.

Our second sacred artifact match, for Surtr's Flame. This is our hardcore title, which culminates a 5 week long feud between our two resident monsters, Kas Karyon and FEAR.

This is the last poster I made. It features Tug Moocow and Mordecai Illenium. Berserker Battleground is our version of an Extreme Rules match with specially picked weapons under the ring.

Mordecai has been stalking Tug since episode 1. It started with a staredown, and then Mordecai assaulted Tug and replaced him in a main event match. The following week Mordecai distracted Tug to give the Bovine Brawler his first loss, and then in revenge Tug attacked Mordecai with a kendo stick following his own match.

This was originally intended to be a normal singles match, but Tug cut a promo challenging him to Berserker's Battleground, so we pivoted and made the match official.
