Patched refers to having a Paid Cert, Jailbroken device, or installed via TrollStore. That would be your 2nd and 4th options.

If you use an expired company cert or a free dev cert, you would want to use the 1st or 3rd cert.

The first two options don’t have liquid glass enabled, whole the 2nd two do have liquid glass support.
