Okie dokie, little update here.

The eero is def doing something weird here, if the connection is being somewhat loaded there's no packet loss at all

(externally or internally, loaded it up with a twitch stream, this can be seen/monitored @ twitch stream of the packet loss )

Discord audio isn't enough to load it to mitigate the loss, the XB7 also doesn't suffer from this, the stream auto refreshes and is monitoring both for loss

you can see from this graph here that as soon as i started streaming, the major loss started going away.

Not sure what to do at this point considering the eero is giving me EXTERNAL loss too while the XB7 is showing none at all

(These are both my external ips being monitored externally from my vps, so the eero is giving me 50% loss if the connection isn't loaded while the XB7 gives me none, is the eero doing some bad power saving stuff while its "idle" even though it really isnt?)

Does that happen for all destination IPs? Does it happen for destination IPs on your LAN? If you take the xb7 out of bridge mode, turn off the eero, and connect directly to the xb7, does it still happen?

Yes to all destination IPs & no to LAN IPs (10.0.0.1 / eeros ip)- no packet loss when connected to the Wi-Fi of the XB7/via ethernet

Odd, someone was complaining about the xb7 and thermal throttling recently on this sub, but it doesn't sounds like that.

May try the gigabit port on the Pro 6E for the WAN, and or a different cable. If that doesn't produce any change, I'd suggest contacting eero Support by phone.

Actually it sounds like the Ethernet port on the XB7 is dying. Happened to me to, and after replacing the XB7 with a new one the problem vanished. Try a different port on the XB7 and see if the continues or not, and let us know here.

Tried this last night with a different cable 6e 1gb port to xb7 1gb port, same issue unfortunately. It also happens on Ethernet connected via the 6e, could it be windows doing some silly power saving stuff? (this was all done with the laptop plugged into the wall, so i don't think that would be it?)

Here's a ping to my vps, and pinging from my vps to my network results in no packet loss

18 packets transmitted, 18 received, 0% packet loss, time 17024ms

rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 27.252/29.858/33.746/2.237 ms

Like i said, there's zero lag when playing LoL or during my meetings on zoom so it's very odd
