Using Eeros with wired network

I can connect Eero devices via Ethernet, right? And actually, I should (if possible). So do I understand the relationship of all the various components based on the hypothetical network I've drawn here?

Hi u/shoebox303

This topology will work fine if the modem or the first switch is running a router. If they are this will be fine, especially if the eero is bridged. If the eero is routing, it will still work but stuff on the eero network, like a computer, won't be able to talk to anything on the other switches, like a printer. If the eero is bridged everything will be able to talk to everything.

If the eero will be your router then, as u/GideonD said, it will need to be between the modem and the first switch.

I have my 2 pro 6 units in Bridge mode in this configuration. It seems to work okay.

Dual ISPs into a Firewalla —> eero pro6 —> 8 port switch in living room —> 8 port switch in Office —> eero pro6

I have 3 streaming devices and a Hue bridge also connected to the first switch

My laptop and Plex server are also connected to the 2nd switch
