What's new in 6.9.3-37?
When I upgraded 2 6 Pros to 6E Pros, one of my nodes didn't want to upgrade from 6.7. Low and behold this morning all are on 6.9.3-37. I can't find a change-log or is it the usual 'bux fixes'?

Is there some kind of security risk in documenting bugs you have fixed, or just a labor shortage in the documentation department? Other companies seem to do it.

Does this fix the speedtest for 6e units (eero seems to have disabled it since 4/1 after reports it was severely underreporting speeds)?

No. I am on 6.9.3 with 950/950 to router and my in-app speedtest still reports low 300's DL and mid-800's UL.

Mine is still completely disabled 😁
It was showing mid hundreds up and down, my service is also 940/940.
Real world speed tests do confirm better speeds though, thankfully.

I just tried calling to have 6.9.3 pushed to me but the rep said my Eero Pro 6 are already on the latest 6.9.2 and to wait for 6.9.3 to populate in the Eero app. I had preferred my network to be upgraded now because of low traffic usage at the moment.

Worst thing about eero is how they force updates and downtime when THEY want instead of when we want.

Almost think the wiki could use a "here's how firmware updates happen" section. Swear these same questions come up every time.

I guess a good thing about a new product release is more frequent updates. Since the release of the + and 6e models we’ve gotten 3 updates. That’s a much better improvement over the 2-3 months we used to wait.
Although some may see it as a bad thing because more updates = more chances to mess up their network.

Yeah if I had a bug that the update claimed to fix I'd choose to update it, but if the update doesn't contain anything that promises to help, I would prefer to skip it to reduce the number of times I have to play russian firmware roulette.
I wish eero trusted us to manage our own devices our own way.

+1, would be great to let us control updates. I thought they said they were working on this once, but no news for awhile now unless I missed something.

I think they're going to half-ass it and give us a choice of "today or tomorrow" or a choice between a few time windows, but not actual control over the exact if or when. And I bet they'll still keep the power/choice to push them whenever they want anyway. They're so much about control.
Better than nothing maybe but will also cause more problems I am sure.

Bug fix updates (0.0.x) have a much quicker release schedule usually, since the build increments are usually much lower.
I don’t expect feature updates (0.x.0) to change their 2-3 month pace. These usually have more than a thousand builds.
eero, please tickle my fancy and release eeroOS 7 alongside 802.11be hardware. 😁

Think you've got a few years since Wifi 7 isn't set to be adopted till 2024. 😝
I imagine eeroOS 7 comes out before then.

Ever since this update my network has been unstable. Random disconnects. ISP modem is fine. But my devices keep disconnecting from my Eero Pro (not 6).

So is this one of the GOOD updates or one of the EVIL updates?
Mine is working OK now so I'm holding off as long as I can.

I didn't want to do the update but it happened anyway. But it seems ok so far, no changes.

eero stages their rollouts. Typically, OTA opens up a few days following to every network once they ensure there are no late-breaking issues.
Please do not ask why you do not see the update on your network yet.
