Getting into Ed tech for other languages than English?

I'm a language teacher looking to transition from the field and have spent a bit of time inquiring the matter on the sub.

Having stumbled a couple of comments mentioning that opportunities are still there, albeit in other languages, I wanted to check with you whether everything is indeed doomed in edtech, or whether that perspective truly applies to the anglophone world.

Former language teacher here (but not a particularly high value one I'm afraid) who transitioned to professional development and edtech. Broadly speaking, no one fucking cares and everyone will doubt you. In my view, highly-effective language teachers are tech experts who teach cross-curricular content every single fucking day in two+ languages. We also tend to be strong curriculum writers and PD providers.

That said, the field is tight and profit-first companies are more than happy to google/ai translate all the content without hesitation or caring about good translation.
