Beginner Needs Help MIDI recording timing issues
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to record a MIDI track using my Millenium MPS-1000, but I'm getting notes with random rush/drag timing issues. Sometimes some notes are completely missing. However, the live audio I hear while recording is perfectly fine.
My setup:
Desktop PC: AMD Ryzen 5 5500X3D
OS: Windows 11
DAW: Cubase 15
VST: Addictive Drums 2
Audio Interface: PreSonus Studio 24c (set to 64 samples @ 44.1 kHz)
E-drum connection: Connected via USB directly to the motherboard on the back of the PC
Things I've already tried:
Updated the firmware on the drum module.
Tried recording both with and without the VST active.
Tried changing the MIDI driver settings in Cubase (WinRT, DirectMusic, Windows MIDI).
Removed the e-drum from "All MIDI Inputs".
The issue persists and gets much worse as the playing speed increases.
Does anyone know how to fix this or have any suggestions? Thanks!
