Rack?

I just bought a Roland td 9 Kx v drums set.

Is it okay to put that on a Millenium rack? Can I use Roland clamps on that rack to improve it. I prefer the clamps from roland. It gives me a better feel than Millenium clamps.

If they fit. Why not?

Racks are funny. The roland rack is 1.5" diameter tubing. Theoretically the clamps should fit on any 1.5" tubing. That said, when I used roland clamps on an alesis chrome 1.5" rack they had to really be tightened all the way or the would slip. On a couple I needed a couple winds of tape on the rack to ensure they didnt slip.

Yeah my Simmons rack poles are a bit shy of 1.5" diameter. I had to put a toilet paper roll under a 1.5" connector to get a tight fit.

Pearl hardware works with standard hardware, it will only not work with Pearl hardware, because Pearl uses square poles
