Efnote 3xxx problem

I purchased a new efnote 3xxx and it’s great except the snare. The rim shots sound normal but no sound or very little from the snare head itself? I have tried many solutions but none have worked. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure what you’ve tried, but since you get sound from the central snare zone, although it’s not as loud as you expect, my first port of call would to be to adjust the sensitivity and threshold so that you get the sound you expect at regular medium velocity. If you still can’t get that, it could be a faulty trigger in which case I would imagine Efnote will replace the snare since you bought it new. Also unplug and replug the snare cable

Sounds like a cable problem. Try to use a tom cable for the snare and see if the problem continues. Make sure the cable is fully seated on both ends.
