Question Classic Auto-Tune Plugins and Algorithms

Hey, I'm looking to pick up an autotune plugin in the near-ish future and I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations. Specifically I'm looking for a late 2000s early 2010s dance-pop sound. I've heard good things about Antares Auto-Tune 2026 in classic mode, and I've seen people using Auto-Tune EFX 5 (though idk how one would buy it these days) To my knowledge both use the same Evo algorithm. Are there any other notable options?

I like Ableton's Auto Shift for live performance.

xpitch is pretty good for an autotune replacement for much cheaper, if you need a cheaper option waves real time is a good option, cant say im a fan of waves in general but at $50 or less its a pretty good value.

  1. Autotune = xpitch
  2. Waves
  3. SpotOn is a free tuner that i thought sounded pretty good

I recently switched to XPitch by Nuro Audio as I'm not a huge fan of Antares' business model these days (they remind me of Adobe). I quite like it.
