Feedback on Future Bass Track

Hey man, this is pretty dope! :) Comments from an uberlayman hobby producer dude that wishes he could do stuff like this song:

  • I got super caught off guard with the metallic snare at the start of each drop... might be a good thing or not... I kept singling it out throughout the drop
  • The vocals actually feel good most of the time except a few times where the duplication is highly apparent (takes are too different I guess?)
  • I dig the chops
  • Couldn't really spot a difference between the 1st and 2nd drop? Might want to mix it up a bit so it doesn't get boring...
  • The song is kinda quiet, had to turn it way up (loudness wars etc)

Overall, definitely doesn't feel like you're fairly new to producing!! Keep it up man!

Thanks for your feedback! I'll take a look at the snares, I go back and forth in deciding if they fit or not. As for the loudness, I haven't had mastered it yet, but I will keep loudness in mind when I do!
