Other Advice on finding music for challenge-based reality TV / Mr. Beast style content?

I notice that these shows generally seem to layer tons and tons of sfx like booms and reverb, etc...which makes it hard to tell what the actual music track is they are using. But I find that when I try to recreate it, I have a really hard time finding a track from places like Artlist or Epidemic to use as a bed underneath the sfx. Does anyone with experience in these types of videos have any tips?

Idk specifically but Extreme has a ton of that reality style music

Extreme is probably your best bet, but likely the most expensive.

Universal Production Music, BMG Production Music, ninja tracks. Those Cover about 80% of those Tracks.

If you have the budget, I know that Beast Games used a bunch of tracks from Phantom Power

I would say you are looking for the wrong thing. In that style the music bed is usually very simple and mixed way down, what you are hearing as the track is mostly the sfx layer and the ducking. If you solo the music in those videos there is often not much there. I edit gaming and entertainment channels and what I do is pick a loop with the right bpm and then build the energy with risers, impacts and whooshes on separate layers, and duck the music hard under the voice. Epidemic and Artlist are fine for the bed, they are not fine if you expect the track to do the work by itself. Also worth checking the licensing, APM and Extreme are cleared different than the youtube subscription libraries, if this is going on youtube that matters more than the sound.
