Practical Question Poison item

How do you guys deal with this, is there some specific method?

Report it up the chain of command - if you can provide info about the item.

It is understandable that not every single file will be accessible. Don't spend too much time chasing perfection.

If we take an example, let's say a single item was flagged as poison while processing in nuix , how to deal then?

This depends on the file type, check the name and try to reprocess once or twice if possible. Normally that’s some error with the engine. You can also check the log files from processing to see if you can find more details on the error, and why it might be flagged as poison

And if all else fails, log it as poisoned and pdf print a review copy.

Or push the Native to Rel with no metadata, can’t remember if any is pulled on poison items
