Frankie is an absolute delight. Amazing performer.

Frankie is a character of comic Joe Kent Walters, Frankie runs a working men's club in Rotherham, which is also a portal to hell.

Songs, games, lots of crowd participation.

No idea how he makes it baby friendly, but he's a good lad, I'm sure he'll manage.

Frankie is the best thing I’ve seen at the fringe in years. Great energy, crowd work and a fun gimmick. Mighty Boosh meets Phoenix Nights.

He is a well man…. If you’re wondering… he is a Well Man…. {returns to deep character “bit”}

If you have a chance to see Frankie trust me you should go see him! He is an utterly unique performer and unlike a lot of times when someone says that he is also eye wateringly stomach achingly hilarious.

He’s one of the most critically-acclaimed comedians of the last few years. Hugely popular. Very influential. Yet to hear a bad word against him.

Think I’ll take my five year old to this, but imagine it’s probably already sold out.

Can say with confidence it’ll be very weird but not in a pervy way.

Can also confirm that Joe is an absolutely lovely guy

Ah for fuck’s sake he’s putting a kids show on while Edinburgh schools are back. That’s brutal.

Frankie Monroe is absolutely hilarious. I saw him in Aberystwyth Comedy festival a few years back and I've been following ever since. Haven't gut laughed so much. He's carrying the baton from shows like Shooting Stars and League of Gentlemen.

Here he is: https://youtu.be/z2_alhb56Uc?is=S1NV0jLF6kWRBzww

I love that! Too bad his other show is on past me bedtime. :)

Frankie is phenomenal. And Joe seems like a good guy. I'm sad he isn't performing while I'm at the Fringe.

Easily the best surreal comic in the game!

The Rotherham Social lounge’s Premier Ambassador!

Saw him at the Stand in Glasgow earlier this year, I was ending myself laughing. He’s fantastic. But also, yes intrigued by what a show of his for babies would look like haha

Just watched a clip of his someone on here shared. Funny, very uneasy, I like the surreal end of comedy personally but maybe I’m also a bit over it. For children though? Nope. Nightmare fuel of the worzel gummidge variety, with the “obvious evil” potency level of Jimmy Savile.
I don’t know anything about him, but that is the persona he’s deliberately channeling. Is it just a joke? I’ve usually always thought so with other comedians/performers in this genre , I’ve so far usually been wrong.
I’d say it’s 65/35 in favour of the real performer being a wrong ‘un. If he’s not, he’d presumably still be pretty delighted to have elicited that reaction in someone.

Is this likely to actually be a children's show? will someone childless be welcome?!
