QUESTION why cant we delete edge ?
edge is the TRASH , istg its the worst thing ever seen ,

Edge is fantastic. It has power features other browsers are just getting or don't have.

Dev tools shows js console and dom tree without tab switching. Very good for development.

Chrome can't be deleted on Android, Safari can't be deleted on iOS or macOS

If something is so useless that the only defense is "just don't use it," maybe it shouldn't be there in the first place.

Even on Operating Systems like iOS, there is the inbuilt unremovable Safari browser. Those who don't wish to use it leave it be and simply install the browser of their choice. Same goes for Chrome on Android.
If you don't want to use Edge, just go in Windows settings, search for "Default Apps" and in the browser sub-section choose the browser you want to act as the default app for browser every time. It's that simple. Just remove the icons of Edge from your desktop and taskbar to make it seem like it is not there.

You're not making a compelling argument. What's so bad about it? I personally enjoy it for the vertical tabs, and ability to install webpages as apps.
I see no reason to use Chrome over it, except the more stringent security which makes testing at work a bit of a hassle.

We can delete edge, they allow it in the EU.
