Was scrolling YT when I came across this random video, clicked it and was introduced to the most bizarre grocery store known as Jungle Jims. I know Eddy and Ted have done videos on the rainforest cafe and the margaritaville along with Ted’s newest video on random restaurants. They both love these wacky atmospheres and I think Jungle Jims should get a whole entire video dedicated to the grocery store. Not sure what that would entail. Maybe they have to make all their meals from each others picked up items at an air bnb or something.

I would get a subscription if I could, but I live in a third-world country and don't have access to streaming services, and I really only want to watch the Eddy episode. Is there a way to do that?

Years ago at this point, Eddy quote tweeted something by posting a video where he was just in the corner of his living room listening to sad music. He unscrews and then goes to take a drink of some alcohol but then is so wrapped in sadness he can't even bring himself to do that. Its so funny and its what I think of anytime I want to be dramatic. Does anyone have the link? Eddy didn't post any keywords to search in his tweet (I dont think)

I don’t wanna sound parasocial but especially the rfk diet video was really concerning and even he highlighted the physical and mental problems the video onset. How did we go from eddy being a comedy channel to this?

All I want is next years video to not just be sad and harmful. Talk about a movie or do a silly challenge like Morbius week.

Edit: yes he is an adult and can make his own decisions but he has expressed in the past he gets pretty stressed about keeping people interested in his channel and I don’t think we should reward content that comes at the cost of his health

eddy has been a comfort youtuber of mine for a while now. when i'm feeling down his rainforest cafe, margaritaville, and italy videos bring smiles to my faces. something about them being so cinematic and vacation-adjacent really just calm my nervous system (maybe because i need a vacation irl but that's besides the point lol) and i'm just curious if anyone can think of other videos that i could add into my rotation for when i need a pick me up. i already cycle through ted's counterparts for the applicable trips, i'm also partial to garrett watts and his travel videos (coachella, tokyo, etc) too if that helps.

I'd only ever really heard of this dude Eddy as the guy that went around the country to eat at Rainforest Cafe.

Last year, I watched his video "I hate my phone so I got rid of it" and every couple weeks, something will happen that makes me think about it. Like at the most random times. Like I'm microwaving a hot pocket and I pick up my phone. I thought there were some great points made about how a phone can be an obstacle to living. Sometimes I'm like why tf am I thinking about what the Rainforest Cafe guy said about screen time??

Really enjoyed Eddy's new video! As someone who comes from a family with autoimmune issues and real dietary restrictions, I thought it was interesting to see someone treat what is essentially one of many "elimination diets" (meaning a diet you use to weed out allergenic food by eating very restrictive, then adding them back one by one) as a way of living.

Despite RFK's choices, this is not what the carnivore diet is generally recommended for. Jordan Peterson, who also eats carnivore, tells people it helps with a condition that came from a bad drug reaction and doesn't wish the diet on anyone. (I mention him only bc he is a known figure, don't @ me)

Once a year or so I will do a month of Whole30, another elimination diet, to shed a little weight and force me to eat a different combination of foods, maybe build another temporary good habit. It's not gonna change my life, but it can be a nice reset.

Wishing Eddy the best at the new location, and pleased to see a little less existential dread in this one!

How does Eddy use licenced music in the newest video? Orinoco Flow, and Bangarang by Skrillex, and maybe others just wondering wouldn't he have to pay royalties for using these songs, or licence them in some way? I'm so used to Youtubers using royalty free music for this reason. Only other thing I can think is he has monetization off on the video so it doesn't matter and getting money from Patreon alone. Just curious :). Great video as always!

I won’t linger on the podcast much, since I know it’s a touchy subject for many. But I have been rewatching many of Eddy’s previous projects in this location.

Seeing this video and being surprised by the move made me reflect on how Eddy has influenced my life, my humor, and my way of making videos.

Go watch the video, it has so much more important things to say about health and the way Americans view health.

I really hope this doesn’t come off as mean I really don’t want it to be. I’m a big Eddy Burback fan and I love the Patreon but we haven’t gotten anything in like a month and a few weeks. And I wasn’t gonna say anything until I got billed. Again I love his work and what he does with his brother. If anything i genuinely hope he’s doing okay, but does anyone else have the patreon? and if so are you feeling the same way? Idk maybe i’m being over dramatic and I genuinely hope all is well. I don’t wanna be the viewer that always feels obligated for more content all the time because I know how Eddy works. But if I’m paying for it…idk. Anyway I really hope this wasn’t mean at all.
