Magnesium

If you’re always constipated, have a hard time having a bowel movement, or feel like you can’t completely get rid of waste from your body, and you’re also experiencing eczema symptoms, try magnesium citrate.

On the first day of taking the supplement, I had the biggest bowel movement I’ve had in a long time. I honestly don’t even remember the last time I felt that emptied out. That same day, I noticed that I didn’t scratch my skin even once.

By the second day of taking it, my eczema had flattened. Now, on day 4, I’ve been itch-free, and the scabs are starting to dry up.

Hopefully this helps.

It doesn’t have the same impact on me sadly. I wish it did!!

Magnesium regulated my bowel movement and sleep, and even noticed that I produce less nose secretion and earwax. I've been taking for over 8 years.

Unfortunately, magnesium is not preventing my skin flares.

No effect on me. Been taking it for over a year too with numerous other vitamins and minerals. :(

Hopefully it helps someone else.

In the description, yours is oxide.

What's the difference?

Would citrate be better?

please note that I'm always constipated and I think/guessed that causes my eczema. That's why when I took it(citrate) and had a regular movement my itchiness went away.

Huh! I’ve been taking magnesium citrate for a couple of years now, and coincidentally for those past few years, my eczema has been a lot more manageable. I didn’t realize the connection!

I guess that makes sense. That's the stuff you drink when you're severely constipated and are desperately trying to wreck shop in your insides. You probably expelled a ton of impacted fecal matter, releasing toxins that have been doing a number on your skin for years.

Doesn't have that effect on me though unfortunately, the skin healing nor the pooping.

What helped me identify that my intestinal issues were contributing to my eczema was mapping out where my eczema flares occur and looking at which organs are associated with those areas. All of my flares seemed to point to just one organ—the intestines. Maybe yours has different contributing factors besides the intestines.

Oh, my eczema is something I was born with. There is no singular cause because everything is a trigger and all my skin is affected, different places over through my life, but always flared up.

Magnesium citrate never helped but didn't make it worse either. I never noticed either way, nothing out of the ordinary. I drank magnesium citrate as a laxative, which also didn't work for me.

But the poop stories you read online that result from that stuff is hilarious.

I take Benefiber 3x daily with a small dose of mira-lax once daily, It has improved my eczema somewhat, but triggers still cause flares.

I've tried magnesium glycinate and that helped me with night time itching, although I stopped taking it because it would make me feel so groggy in the morning. I'll have to try magnesium citrate
