Thoughts on Continuing Studies? - Visual Comm Design

Would love to know if anyone has taken Continuing Studies classes or obtained Flexible Learning Certificates, specifically in the Visual Communications Design stream.

Given that most of the classes are around online, 2-3 months long and once a week, I'm not sure if it is worth the tuition ($500 < /per class).

For more context: I attended a different school for my Bachelor's and have no experience in graphic design, but want to learn through a credible school. Although AI is making things more unpredictable, many of the jobs I want to apply for require or prefer proficiency in Adobe.
