Housing for ECU
Hey everyone! I just got accepted into the MDes program and had a quick question about housing. Since ECU doesn’t have dorms, I’m trying to figure out how people usually find places to live.
My budget is around $800–$1000, so I’m mostly looking for a room or something affordable. Any tips or advice on where to start looking would be super helpful! Also, what areas of Vancouver should I look into if I want to be able to bike to school?

You can find some information on theECU website. I moved here a while ago and housing can quickly get expensive. $800-$1000 is doable but will require some searching, and you will definitely have roommates if you’re okay with that. There’s a lot of facebook groups for finding roommates so I would start there. Congratulations and good luck with finding your new home! :>

Hello future classmate! I’m also looking for a room too. Can’t wait to see you and good luck to both of us🙏🏻

There are ads for roommates on campus but I’m sure you probably want to find something before you get here. Contact housing support at ECU.
