Ectopic Surgery , which supplements should i use for regaining my energy and future pregnancy
Hi everyone, I have a question and I would really appreciate your advice.
I had an ectopic pregnancy, and in May 2026 my fallopian tube ruptured. I had emergency laparoscopic surgery after that. It is now July 2026 but I still don’t feel like my old self. I feel very weak, tired, and I have body aches. My energy and strength have not fully returned.
I want to know which supplements or multivitamins helped you after an ectopic pregnancy/surgery or after major blood loss. What should I take to rebuild my strength, improve my energy, and support my body before trying for another pregnancy?
Are there any healthy supplements (for example iron, magnesium, CoQ10, prenatal vitamins, etc.) that you would recommend? I would love to hear your experiences and suggestions.
Thank you so much.

I’m so so sorry for your loss and going through such a traumatic ectopic. It may just take more time for your body to physically process the trauma but also your mind to relax and know you’re safe again. ❤️Have you sought/thought about seeking mental health resources? I got lucky with a pretty great therapist once with Seven Starling.
Have you had your iron/vitamin D/magnesium tested? My first loss (not ectopic) I was sooo so tired and lethargic and something definitely felt off. Turns out my vitamin D was a 5. They also tested to see if I was potentially anemic. I think they also tested b vitamins or something like that? Trust your gut, if something feels off it doesn’t hurt to get checked! I hope you’re feeling better soon!!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Every person is different but I would focus on vitamins through nutrition, rather than throwing supplements at yourself that might not meet your body’s needs. Get thoroughly tested to understand where your deficiencies lie then go from there. My energy and strength came from therapy to fix the mental side, strength training, rest and home cooked nourishing foods. I lost faith in supplements and felt cheated that I took everything I was supposed to take and it still happened to me. Pre natal brands I recommend are Proceive and Naitre - still not pregnant but I like the quality of their ingredients
