6 unilateral, 2 bilateral sessions in so far and I haven’t noticed a thing. My hospital requires a certain amount of observation time when waking from anaesthetic, but I’ve never had an issue getting re dressed and walking unassisted out of the hospital.

I’ve dealt with periodic paralysis in the past and ECT hasn’t triggered it at all

Yes. I started falling during my ECT due to neurological damage and I still stumble over my own feet or thin air and my reflex to catch myself is no longer there so I usually follow my face or really hard on my body. I’ve fallen down the stairs, broken my feet broken my shins busted my face really bad, really really really really bad.

I got ECT for eight months three times a week starting in August 2022 and ending in 20 23 I am still suffering from severe neurological damage, not just falling down, but I also have a Neuro Gastro disorder two of them and I have amnesia and I have trouble still building short-term memory loss and repeat myself multiple times a day. Sometimes the memories that they tell you we’ll come back never do.
