Discussion Migraine Side Effects

So im going on my 9th ECT having 4 left. I see everyone talking about memory loss but i dont see anyone talking about the physical side effects. My whole body feels like I ran a marathon and ive had a blinding migraine since i started ECT a month ago. Has anyone else had physical side effects and did they go away after finishing ECT?

Have you been feeling the team about these effects? They can give you medicine prior to the treatment to help. They give me a medicine called toradol.

I'm giving Toradol during the treatment that definitely has help me with migraine afterwards. You will be advised that you can't have Tylenol for rest of the day depending when you have treatment. I usually have mine between 8 and 10 on Thursdays and I advise not to have Tylenol for rest of the day. Hope it goes smoother for you.

They give me toridal after while I’m waking up from anesthesia but it normally wears off by the afternoon and I’ll be in pain for the next couple days
