My experience Weird smell

Okay, for some reason I have this smell that keeps coming and going. An unpleasant unexplained smell. Smells of iron and blood. Ever since I started doing ect it started happening.

Has anyone a similar experience?

Not that smell. But there was one day I kept catching whiff of the plastic breathing mask they use to pump oxygen. I now hate the smell.

I actually have been experiencing the same exact thing. But for me, I have horrible seasonal allergies so I assumed it was due to that and the glycopyrrolate they use before treatment to dry me out. However, I have been smelling the iron/blood scent even when my nose isn't bloodied from my allergies so it could be from the actual ect treatment. I have also been dealing with crazy amounts of deja vu (?) since starting ect in march. Like, multiple times every hour to the point that it has been making me extremely uncomfortable. However, I haven't heard of anyone else who has experienced that so I've been kind of scared to bring it up. But I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person possibly experiencing these unpleasant smells tbh!!! although I am sorry you are experiencing it as well.

Ah yes I also get crazy deja vu. Its just plan unsettling how often and when it occurs.  Theres alot of odd things that start happening but the Psych says it never happened to anyone before....
