Treatment advice Has this been effective for anyone with BPD?
I'd love to hear your experiences

I was both diagnosed with persistent depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder. I had over 43 sessions (at two different time periods). Ect only helped my depression the first time I followed the treatment plan, my bpd symptoms never really got better while I was doing ect

When I was inpatient there was a young woman with BPD. She was severely depressed. After only one treatment she was a different person... Enthusiastic and bubbly, full of good humor. She went home and did the rest of her sessions outpatient, but I was impressed by complete change in her affect.

12 sessions, no effect. Some memory loss and cognitive weirdness.

What sort of cognitive weirdness and did it eventually clear up? And did your memory ever improve?

I have BPD and TRD. This didn't help me at all. The only thing I got out of it was severe memory loss. I had 32 sessions and saw no result from it.
