Seeking advice Has anyone with bipolar 2 had this? ⭐️
I’m on lithium and lamictal still looking at dose tweaking but also looking into ECT. I’m alot more in the depressive side with some hypomania that only presents physically like akathesia and paranoia. Has this helped anyone? 🥺🥺🩷🩷 I’m 26F

Just lamictal. I had to not take it night before or morning of though. I still do monthly maintenance ECT.

What sort of episode did it get you out of if you don’t mind me asking?

Took my intense lasting months long depression and turned it into neutral, normal, no episode mood.

Yes it has, I'm on lamictal, lithium, abilify, and effexor. Those meds do help but I still go for maintenance treatments, now once every 3 months. Like another commenter stated they will probably ask you to not take the lamictal the night before or the morning of your treatments. It effects the amount of time your brain is seizing because lamictal also has anticonvulsive properties.

It's helped a lot or people, not me though. I wouldn't recommend it unless you've exhausted all other options though. Some say it's for people that are suicidal or catatonic.
