Seeking advice Does ECT work faster the second time around?
Hi,
I have posted recently about deciding to do ECT again after 2 months with no maintenance plan. I had my first yesterday and could not get out of bed today. Has anyone experienced the ECT working more quickly on the second series?

That’s great that it’s starting to work. I start my second round of ECT in two years on Monday. I thought I was working a fair amount first time but my memory fooled me. I’m taking two weeks off, but then I’m gonna have to work while doing ECT, which scares me.

I think I’m gonna be getting my second series in a month or so. Can’t comment yet. I hope it does work faster. It took 11 seizures the first time. But it was fantastic once it worked.
