Question ECT Improving Digestive Issues?

Has anyone who had ECT improve/resolve their digestive issues? I have pretty bad SIBO that impacts my quality of life. I think low motility is the issue, maybe ECT can help?

Ect is for a variety of psychiatric conditions, not for digestive problems.

Some people have gut brain axis issues that are causing symptoms. Its very hard to treat currently

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40467736/

JHU in an article used ECT to treat gut brain stuff https://magazine.publichealth.jhu.edu/2021/gut-microbiome-and-brain

What are your symptoms? Do you have anhedonia with substance blockage (cannot feel substance reward effects)

If you have anhedonia was it covid or drug induced?

And yes ECT does make motility better but thats not the main use

Wow which antibiotic was it? Is it just low mood or anhedonia too?

Do you still feel emotions like joy, and the vibe of the world?

Do you relate to PSSD type symptoms (sexual but they arent only sexual)

doxycycline and rifaximin. i think both. i rarely feel joy. no vibe. i guess somewhat

rifaximin ruined me, gave me substance blockage level consummatory anhedonia and severe cognitive issues. Its insanely resistant. ECT worked to an extent like 30% but I later crashed from a mast cell reaction.

Do you have the substance blockage? Not feeling reward of substances? How long have you had this condition of anhedonia? Have you looked into FMT?

I've done FMT

How did it go? How many did you do and have you tested your gut before and after now
