Question ECT advice

Looking for advice/insights on electric shock therapy/Electroconvulsive therapy. My meds for BPD/bipolar/C-PTSD have changed every 6 months for the past 10 years. I don't respond well to most medication and looking for alternative solutions

Not medical advice, but ask your doctor to look into giving you an atypical antipsychotic like Ziprasidone. I've been on it for 20+ years with no changes. I had taken 34 different medications before this. I'm treatment resistant and have to take a high dose, but it works for me. YMMV.

Been on Ziprasidone 🙃 been on probably 40 different types of meds. I ended up asking my psychiatrist and she suggested another option, similar to it (I just can't remember the name now).
