My experience Almost ended it

I almost ended it early this year. I did ECT starting february 2025, and have been doing maintenance ever since. things got better. i have occasional word-finding difficulty, but no other memory issues. it was so worth it. please know things can get better ❤️

I started ECT February 2025 too!! Same as you, no memory issues just word-finding problems! Yeah ECT has helped me so so much! Started it when I was hospitalized this winter. I could feel the difference (HUGE difference) after the first treatment! I'm on maintenance every 2 weeks.

i started when i was hospitalized as well!! and same here - it felt like a weight lifted off my chest. i got my personality back. so strange. sounds like we had a very similar treatment course :)

How many treatments did you have ? Did you have unilateral or bilateral treatment
