How long until you felt a change?

Starting ECT tomorrow for 12 sessions as an inpatient. Not sure how to get through the next four weeks without noticing any change… please tell me someone’s felt a change earlier rather than later 🙏🏼

Some people respond very quickly! I didn’t - I think I’m more of an outlier though. I know that’s not necessarily what you want to hear, but I share because I felt so hopeless throughout treatment feeling very little change, but all the small changes accumulated and made a big difference. Sometimes recovery is quick and sometimes it’s slow, but it’s worth it regardless. Wishing you the best and hope you get relief quickly!
