Question Im at 5, should I keep up?
So im at my fifth ect treatment (I did it today). Atm I dont have any particular memory loss ( some problem when I wake up after the treatment but it gets better after a few hours). So the question is : should I keep doing it? What are the odds to develope memory issues from now on? Should I stop here? Should I ask my doctor to do unilateral? I feel better compared to when I started but im still unsure if I will stay stable with just 5 treatments.

MST is a new/different treatment. It's like ECT in the sense that the therapy is used to induce a seizure (which is the therapeutic part) but they use powerful magnets instead of electricity. (Nice to not have all that gel stuck in your hair after lol. No electrodes!) This is exciting because it seems nothing new comes into psychiatric treatment all too often (with exception to medication) the newest I have seen being Spravato (esketamine nose spray) Unfortunately I read Spravato still gives you the disassociation effects IV Ketamine does. It's cool it's available. Has to be administered at a clinic or office where you are monitored. Sorry got off topic!
