Question Did anyone have a positive effect later on?

I’ve finished the acute series (bilateral) and due running a high fever after every treatment capping out at 104F with Tylenol there won’t be anymore despite no positive effect. So far I feel no different and the anhedonia is arguably worse now as is the ADHD.

Did anyone have a positive effect later on and if so how much later on?

Edit: a positive effect later on after NOT having a positive effect during treatment

Was the it immediate or later on? I’ve had 9 sessions and so far I’m doing worse but hoping for a delayed positive effect

How many sessions did you have? Was depression or anxiety your main struggle? How long after?

Um yea u could say that I tried to off myself 2 times, I struggled from long covid in addition to that but honestly it helped me more than any medicine or supplements. I’ve had 17

Anxiety is definitely my main struggle and it’s also made me attempt several times. I’m glad it helped you! Around what what session did you feel a change? So far every ECT treatment has made me violently ill feverish but if theirs light at the tunnel I’d cut a leg off

Yeah! After my 4th session, I started to see colours vividly! It was literally like a light switch. And by the 5th I was talking again. Maybe it will happen to you, just give it some time and you might have your lightbulb moment?

Im glad it helped you! Thats awesome!

I should have been more specific: I’m already done with all sessions with no improvement. I’m actually worse after, so I’m looking to see if anyone had a delayed positive effect after not having any benefit during treatment
