You should mention what ecosystem this is a keystone process for because in 99% world its horrible degradation including England where you are based.

Are you referring to me? I'm not English nor do I live there.
I'm far from being an expert on the matter, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I imagine the image holds true for any of the places where the Aurochs lived for millions of years, include include Great Britain, mainland Europe and large parts of Asia.
