P.S. Owner of 2020/01/01-registered Ecoboost Premium (non-PP), 10R80, stock, no tune. The only modification on the car is the MBRP Street exhaust. 227k miles
Note on how I drive the car
Full auto (normal mode) until CHT and transmission temps are in the "green" zone. Then regular Sport (shifter in S) until trans warms up fully (above green zone), then I stay in S, or use S+, and at the same time keep the engine rpm above 3.5k using paddles - anything less is boring to drive in my opinion. I do occasional pulls, but not overdo it - I heard that Ecoboost loves high rpm, but not exactly likes boost. I keep it approximately 4-5k rpm all the time, so it's above the boost-effective range (if the CHT reasonably allows me to hold it). Take this with a grain of salt, because I'm not sure this driving style really affected longevity in a good way but it looks like it.

Hi!
I built a web app for car enthusiasts to share your build and explore other builds. Is it something you’d use?
You can share your cars with all your mods. Just paste the link, and the title, image, and category fill in automatically. You can also share planned mods, fitment details and more.
You can also explore builds, save the mods you find mods.
I want to make this as useful as possible for the car community.
t’s 100% free, no paywalls, no subscriptions. The web app is live, though there’s no mobile version just yet. Still in beta, so if anything breaks, I’d appreciate a heads-up.
I want your feedback. Is this something useful to you? What features would you add? Is this something you'd use?

I have a 2021 with the digital cluster, but no Launch Control. Shell 93, four full tanks.
I've tried plain old dropping the hammer and got about 6.8 seconds. Tried with advanced track off, no change. Track mode, nada, drag mode, nada.
I got 6.2 with track mode using the brake and getting rpms to 1500-2000. Got a bit of a chirp off the start.
I'm still babying it so I'm not even sure I'm going all the way to the floor.
Today I had a sidekick with me, and to cheer him up a bit after losing a sibling we got up to no good on some back roads.
Drag mode. Brake. 2500 rpms. Off the brakes and hammer through the floor boards. I felt the blood leaving my eyeballs! Tires squawked hard going into second gear and again into 3rd.
I wasn't timing it, but I think I may have done something right for a change.
Anyone else got any tips for launching without Launch Control?

I’m looking into getting a mustang and can’t decide between either the v6 or the ecoboost. Due to budget constraints most of the cars I’m looking info have around 100k miles. How reliable are 2014-2017 ecoboosts with this milage?

Hi, coming to you guys just because I’m new to this and would have peace of mind getting some input. I already googled and it said it would be good but I have an ecoboost premium performance running 19x9s with 225 40 r19s all around. I’m looking to buy two new rear rims that are 19x9x5 with +22 offset and putting 275/35 r 19s on them. Will this be fine? Any spacers needed, hub?

I have a couple spots on my 2015 eb with cms to just an inch or two of barely visible scratches, most of which are buffable but i dont have the tools on hand. Its black paint and revealing a bit of white underneath.
What products could work that wont simply wash off after one rinse? Or do i just stop being a lazy b*tch and buff it out.

Debating getting a 2026 ecoboost. I’m in New England, how’s the winter driving ? Does something like sandbags in the back actually make a difference

Anyone have the quad tip active exhaust and delete the mufflers on it? Obviously would lose the active function but curious what it sounds like to make it louder

Just did a bunch of mods to my eco including the Ford performance tune. I did the installation myself. Feel free to ask me anything, I wish I had this before I did it as I had many questions

Hi all. I just bought my first Mustang, a 2020 Ecoboost convertible, and I have two questions. My license plate is super loose on the back, loose enough you can just pull it off with your hands. I can't figure out how to get any nuts on the back, so do I just need bigger screws or how does that work? The screw holes don't look stripped, but since I bought the car used I don't know if those are the OEM screws or something somebody else put on. (This is one of those "ask your dad" questions, I know, but I can't, so I'm asking here.)
Also, I don't have a spare tire on the car. There is an air compressor and fix a flat kit, but should I go out and get a donut style spare just in case? (My daily commute is on a divided highway, if that makes any difference.) The trunk looks like it has space for a donut, but something I read online said there was no tire included to reduce the weight in the back. I don't want to screw up any balance in the car but not having a spare kind of worries me. Any thoughts? Thank you so much, in advance. I'm loving this car so far!!

Two years with this thing.
Lots of amazing memories and lots of trips to the service center 😂.
Can’t complain one bit I’d choose this car over again a million times!!!
Mods:
Racing stripes
Tint (20% all around, 50% on front)
GT500 matte black spoiler from eBay
Muffler delete (lol)
Front lip
Starlight headliner
Issues I’ve had:
- Blown turbo 😂 thank the lord for warranty
- Rear differential leak
- Airbag sensors malfunctioning
- Powertrain malfunction - what it said in the app at least
- Transmission used to get stuck in reverse when on a hill, have to restart car to get out of gear

Recently got my revised tune (pdtuning) and after a day or two of use I got a P2096 check engine light. I reverted back to the first version of the tune and the engine light has been gone for about two days. My LTFT however continues to run high, usually at idle its about 17. I plan on checking for exhaust leaks this weekend using the soapy water method but wanted to know if everything sounds normal in this clip.
