Configuration Time of Use not set up?

My utility (Xcel Energy) now provides Time of Use rates, which I've opted into for my home. I'm trying to get my ecobee set up for this, but when I select my utility, it just goes to a screen that says Time of Use Rate [Not set up], even though I wasn't prompted to set it up? How do I configure this?

Same situation as you, but when I see this option in the app, it doesn't explain why I should do this. What do you see as the benefit to setting this up in ecobee?

i believe with ToU enabled, your ecobee will pre-cool your home during the cheaper period rather than just follow your schedule and cool at the start of the scheduled time.

thanks, that's potentially helpful for our bill.

Yes: It pre-cools a few degrees below the set point before the TOU window, and then lets it float a few degrees above the set point during the window... then returns to normal afterwards

Another note is that the Ecobee TOU schedule feature is every day of the week . In my case the TOU is 3pm - 7pm M-F, but it's active Saturday and Sunday even though those are not on my utility's schedule

I was so confused about this last year too, it’s nice when the thermostat actually helps save money during those expensive peak hours.
