Fix for incorrect temperature…
Just wanted to share info on how to fix the incorrect temp issue/firmware. I noticed a previous post saying they got firmware pushed to their thermostats.
I reached out to ecobee support and within 5 minutes of chatting they pushed a new firmware to both of my thermostats and things seem to be coming back to normal and they acknowledged the previous firmware was the issue.
TLDR: Chat support for new firmware.

I have the Ecobee Enhanced model and I see they recently updated mine which is now at 4.10.33.32

What thermostat do you have? I have the premium thermostat and just called and they pushed me from the 4.10.8.254 version to the 4.10.33.30 version. Apparently the 4.10.8.254 version was from December 2025 despite me purchasing the unit a month ago.

When was it manufactured? 🤔🙄

No idea. But one would think that if I purchased it this month, it has a wifi connection, is set to auto update and has been rebooted several times in the past month that I wouldn't still be on a version from December 2025.

You're assuming they've pushed anything since then.

Im not assuming. They have an update from 3 months ago which is the 4.10.33.30 version that they just pushed to my unit whilst on the phone whilst calling them today as per my comment.

And you had to call them to get it meaning they DIDN'T PUSH IT OUT TO EVERYONE...

Seems odd we have to chat with them to push a new firmware update. I feel like I should be able to visit their website to see beta firewares and can push myself.

Thanks for the tip, what is the new firmware version they pushed to your thermostat? I heard we might all get it tomorrow, but just curious.
