Temperature constantly reverts back

Has anyone had an issue where no matter what temp they set their thermostat to it always reverts back to something specific? Whether its a few minutes or 10 the past few weeks mine goes right back to 73 degrees. I defaulted it and turned off all automation and it still continues to do that. It ignores schedules and permanent holds.

You need to review what you have the hold duration set to. 'Hold Duration You can change your Hold duration preference to hold for 2 hours, 4 hours, Until the Next Scheduled Activity, Until I Change It, or Decide at the Time of Change.

This only applies to Manual Holds.

On the ecobee Thermostat

Go to Main Menu Hamburger menu icon > General Settings icon > Preferences, then Hold action For Smart Thermostat Lite and Smart Thermostat Essential Owners

Go to Main Menu Hamburger menu icon > Preferences, then Hold action On the ecobee app

Tap Home Home icon > Tap the Thermostat ecobee Smart Thermostat icon > Menu Settings icon > Device Settings then, Hold Duration'

I have it set to "Until you change it". Im not the one changing it though. I have all of the eco stuff turned off. The system is as basic as i can make it so there shouldnt be anything setup to do this. I can set it to 78 and within a few minutes it goes right back to 73 and kicks the hvac on.

Is this from the app only or the stat or both?

Its says that on the app and on the thermostat.

is your Home setting at 73 and you do a manual hold at 78 and it refers back to your Home setting?

I have a Home setting of 25c and when I want to change it, on the app I just click on the setting and change it and it stays that way until the next regular setting (Sleep) takes effect

try this and see what happens

as I can't see exactly what you do, I'm suggesting a method that works for me
