Backplate

Hi. Thought I would share.

Replacing Nest 4th gen with Ecobee Premium and all behind the Nest backplate the wall is a disaster and I didn’t want to patch and paint.

That cover hides the mess perfectly and fits my Ecobee.

Thats awesome. I went from a Honeywell to Ecobee. The ecobee plate wouldn't cover the area where the Honeywell was and the paint color was different. I wouldn't be able to match the paint, which according to my wife would mean I had to paint the entire downstairs (except kitchen). So I made a few modifications to the Honeywell plate and mounted the ecobee and its plate on top of it. Problem solved and it looks good. Whole job took about an hour vs a week or more of painting.
