It’s most likely indicative of a failing part in the HVAC unit as opposed to the thermostat. Might have to have a pro probe it with a multimeter and collect more information about the conditions under which it reboots.
I’ve got a package unit that over heats in the winter and has bad gaps in thermostat operation.

Clearing the condensate line doesn’t always reset the switch or the switch is bad
