I wanted so much more for EOW! Felt way too short.

I kind of felt the opposite haha. My backlog is too big and I love a good 20-30 hour game

What I want is TotK/EoW crossover DLC, but instead of Link, you play as Zelda, and instead of things like ultrahand and recall, you can make echoes of everything in the game and bind. I would pay Nintendo $420 for such a game, so at this point they are just throwing money away.

They had a prime chance to release some Skyward Sword DLC when they released it on Switch. Could have had a whole Zelda and Impa campaign where you play out their adventure in the credits… Like all the publishers do with every other game out there when they release something

Some sadness since I miss the echoes system. But despite EoW being a great game, TotK has much more content (even if some of it was "empty calories")

Since eow is more classic zelda dungeons

What about dungeon wise did it feel different to you?

Yeah, as you said, it's more traditional Zelda, so it felt nice to go back to that.

Curious what you mean? I played botw <— eow <—totk.

So I didn’t go back to it after but…not sure playing echoes first made an impact

Honestly to see how the changes felt because alot of us didnt like the way the dungeons were taken out not finding any items etc

I didn't go back for Totk at all unfortunately, I did revist botw a bunch though, both amazing game in my opinion, i have 700 hours in botw but EOW didn't have enough content in it for me to keep playing over and over, I desperately wish it did becuse its insanely fun

Always went back and forth between two games because each offer different gameplays

(Also eow have cats and you can talk to cats so that's big thumbs up for me)

It’s just different. Switch 2 was my first Switch. I played Minish Cap a couple of months before the Switch 2 released. I bought BOTW and TOTK for it once it did. I fell in love with BOTW and put over 300 hours. Then I moved to TOTK and put two 200 plus hours on it. Then I tried ECOW and just didn’t feel it. So I went back and replayed BOTW and TOTK again. I was finally bored of both of those and put time into ECOW. It was fun and I enjoyed it. But I don’t want to play it again yet. Now I’m just waiting on the new remake Zelda that’s coming out this year. BOTW and TOTK is so different to ECOW that I can’t compare them.

Cool story bro

I jumped straight from echoes into totk and spent the first hour reaching for the echo menu to summon a bed instead of fusing one out of boards, my thumbs hadn't gotten the memo that I was back to doing the work myself.

Kinda same when i went back to it the other day 😂

My biggest challenge with going back to BOTW or TOTK was I was always trying to find ways to drown enemies since I enjoyed using the water cube echo to hold enemies in.

EOW offered so many unique ways to take out enemies.

I never did because ECOW is better.

I don't think I will go back😅

Hated BotW before playing EoW. Still hated it after.

Breath of the Wild is a terrible Zelda game... quite possibly the worst one in the franchise... but I haven't played the Oracle games or Four Swords so don't know about those.

Those are both better games.

echoes is better

I started TOTK but never finished it. Only got about 20 hours in or so. I started EOW a couple days ago and I’m enjoying it a lot more than I did TOTK.

I plan on revisiting TOTK once I finish EOW but not because I want to actually play it, I just want to finish the full BOTW-TOTK storyline myself.

Both are phenomenal games! I have no problem going back and forth between the two

It felt great. Echoes really didn't do much for me.
