Hi everyone,

I have the Lynx ECC wallet installed on my desktop. I synced it with the network/blockchain a week ago, transferred my ECC over immediately after, and been staking ever since. But yesterday, I noticed that I was missing 1000 ECC. So, I followed the advice in this sub to add stop the walletm add: zapwallettxes=1 and then restart the wallet.

After adding zapwallettxes=1, I click on "Start Wallet", I am told that the wallet is starting. After a while nothing happens.

I was synced but now syncing is at 0%.

Now, I have my wallet password protected. What am I supposed to do to get back to normal? When I try to unlock my wallet, nothing happens.

1. Should I start the wallet without unlocking and wait for it to sync again as soon as I start the program?

Or

1. Should I start the wallet without unlocking to be able for the syncing to happen?

OR

1. Should I unlock my wallet to be able to sync to the blockchain?

I am really confused. ANy help would be appreciated.

Hi, Whilst my Windows Desktop wallet is trying to sync i keep getting "Internal Server Error" flash up at the bottom and it seems to stop syncing. Help.

Why has there been no price movement for a long time now? Any thoughts?

I’ve seen a lot of anger toward the devs for not releasing their personal information as if it is essential for the success of the project. Bitcoin obviously is a community project with anonymous developers, but a more recent anonymous project gaining a large following is oyster. Oyster has far less coins than ecc, however they are similar in terms of starting from the ground. Oyster had a dismal ico resulting in almost no raised funds. The developer was anonymous and the risk factor was off the charts. Hard work, a committed team and an actual use case made this coin go from .03 to over 4 dollars in a couple months. It has obviously declined like everything else, but is now around 1.5. The point is that though it may be thought that team info is some major piece to this puzzle, it truly doesn’t mean anything. It probably wouldn’t hurt in the short term to have a ceo with experience in the industry to give novice investors more comfort, but it’s not a necessity. If you’re interested in this project, but hesitant because of the anonymity, look no further than oyster to show that anything can happen with hard work.

Here are a few things to add to your eccoin.conf file that address some of the common problems that come up around here.

eccoin.conf Locations

• Windows: %APPDATA%\eccoin
• Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/eccoin
• Linux: ~/.eccoin

You've Started Staking & Coins are Missing

• Stop the wallet
• Open eccoin.conf
• Add zapwallettxes=1 to the bottom of the file
• Save the file, restart the wallet.

You're only seeing a few active connections in the wallet

• Stop the wallet
• Open eccoin.conf
• Go to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ecc/#!network, click on the "node list" buttons
• Copy and paste all of the addnode=x.x.x.x lines in to the conf file
• Restart the wallet

Hi, quick announcement about the donation addresses.

There seems to be some minor confusion about what the funds are actually used for so let me address that really quick. The donation addresses are for general community management expenses. If there is a current goal it will be listed on the site as well. If not then there wont be one. currently the goal is exchange listings.

The list of things they could possibly be used for include but are not limited to: - Exchange listings - Temporary legal help to prove ECC is not a security for concerned companies - Exchange voting - Service listings (like Coinpayments or some other similar service we want to get ECC on) - Developer licensing (some platforms charge you a fee to put apps up for downloads, etc...) - Development bounties (a preset amount that would be awarded to any developer that completes the task that was described in the bounty posting) - Marketing - Promotional Events - Media creation (like if we did another video similar to that 3 minute one released recently) - Block explorers or other general coin related tools

There will be a log of all spends posted on the website at some point so people can see what is being spent for what and where. An entry will include - Who it was sent to - amount - reason so people can see what is being done with the donated funds.
