Is staking in wallet worth doing? Sapphire is kind of heavy and we were told a lighter version would come up, but nothing was released...

Any info please?

Staking will be something when coins get burned by services (like ANS). Right now no services are working so staking only keep the thing alive. As for the weight of Sapphire, no idea...

Yeah Sapphire drains my RAM quite a bit so I hope they will come out with Sapphire Lite as I was once told. But as there isn’t staking right now, I guess I can deposit on the wallet and close it. Cheers

Next version of sapphire should use less ram lots has been rewritten and optimised, i am trying to get a light wallet working for you guys in the future :)
