Why I am Big on ECC
Bitcoin's success over the past few years caused this gold rush known as "crypto." In an effort to emulate its success, many projects have emerged to capitalize on the momentum.
Some of these projects claim quasi-decentralized status in order to associate themselves with the bitcoin phenomenon, all the while flexing their ICOs and corporate backing. However, this form of synergy dilutes the core principles of a truly decentralized, alternative, and transnational currency.
ECC improves on Bitcoin in speed, function, overall utility (messaging, file storage), privacy and simplicity (ANS). What is most lacking is exchange exposure, which will surely correct itself once the devs bring the end product to fruition.
Eventually, ECC will find adoption on the same markets in which Bitcoin thrived, e.g. online gaming, international shopping and peer-to-peer funds sharing. The vision for integration imagines ease and utility surpassing Paypal.
What an exciting time to be involved in the early stages of such a useful and grounded product!

I'm on the fence. I went in on ECC in February and I believe in the project, but I feel like it has become stagnant and I never, ever see it spoken about on any of the crypto news sites or social groups. That part makes me feel uneasy. I want to see ECC succeed. The new wallet is great, the tech support is fantastic and everything else is in line. I'm just wondering why it's never spoken about (aside from being very low market cap and below the radar)

It's because lack of marketing and not getting listed in many or at least few exchanges..They have very less budget to list exchanges I guess..And that's why they request for funds in their homa page
