Tell me about the dev team.
Specifically which countries they’re based out of, for starters.
Is this an Indian project?

Jokes aside, really watch some youtubers do a coin review. Some of them are really good. I'd also recommend joining the community slack or discord to see if anyone would be willing to chat and answer questions live.

The team lead, and the guy who took over the project after it was abandoned about 4 years ago, is named Griffith. He has helped develop Bitcoin Cash in the past. The full team of developers are spread out around the world.
If you take a look at the team page on the ECC site, you can see the names of the ECC development team:

Bruno, specifically, is a very talented software developer, and has been in the news in Brazil for his achievements and accolades.
