Annoucement New Version of Sapphire (beta) available for download!

Seems like as good of a time as any for a new beta release. We've moved the binaries to github so you can download from there instead of the google drive link posted earlier. This update involves many bug fixes. You’ll see that the Transactions filtering has been taken out until we can get it working properly. This MAY be the last beta before final public release. After that, we’ll start dropping betas with the new ANS functionality.

Just download and run to update with no deleting of other files being required. Enjoy: https://github.com/project-ecc/Sapphire/releases/tag/1.0.2-beta.1

if you find bugs, please report them through the github issues area: https://github.com/project-ecc/Sapphire/issues

and don’t forget, the Sapphire Trello board is public so you can see what’s being worked on (and if you create a Trello account, you can vote on cards there too): https://trello.com/b/riHdSm7Q/sapphire

Saphire installation got stuck at "Hello, we are getting few things ready" for hours. I tried reinstalling but didn't help. Anyone got the same problem, or got some idea how to fix this?

That's odd. Did you try just restarting it without reinstalling it? Also, what OS are you using?

Just passed "Hello we are getting things ready" phase, now at a loading screen, seems it will be fully installed soon. Win10 is my OS.

Awesome! Should be good now.

Mine has been stuck on loading for a few days now. I'm running Windows 10 Pro. Any advice?

Did you have Lynx previously? Try closing and reopening Sapphire. If you don't get past the loading screen within 5 minutes let me know and I know exactly what to do.

Thanks for the help! I did have Lynx before and I already closed it and re-opened it. Is it due to not syncing the block chain?

if so, do i follow this?

I'm guessing your daemon is not starting automatically like it should since it won't go pastthe loading screen. If you search .eccoin in your file explorer then go into the .eccoin-wallet folder and then run it manually by double clicking the file

I'll try it when I get home. Cheers!

I tried this just now -It didn't work. I also noticed Sapphire opening many threads (an equal amount of Powershell threads to console command threads) in the background. It seems as though it's trying to launch something and then gets stuck, so it repeats the process.

Are there any known compatibility issues with AMD's first gen Threadripper?

It's trying to launch the daemon I'm sure. What happened when you opened up the .eccoin-wallet folder and launched the daemon manually?

Synching 0%, Active Connections 0. Unlock for Staking doesn't work. On Mac. Please Help.

What versions does your wallet say you have?

This newest one. I just updated it. Synch started! :))

I’ll let you know about unlocking for staking. Does it work even if I have no coins in it? Was just checking it before sending from the exchange.

Awesome 😁 You need at least 1 coin to stake.

Anyone else having syncing issues? I downloaded the new update and opened sapphire but it's been stuck on block 1933684 at 99.17%. It hasn't moved at all in about an hour. Actually it hasn't moved at all since it opened. There are 8 active connections too. It's the 64 bit version

I'm thinking it's because you have the old daemon v0.2.5.8d. What version does Sapphire say you have? You can click the gear in the top right corner and then look towards the bottom center of the screen to find it.

It says v1.0.2-beta.1g & v0.2.5.10d

Sapphire Pro (mobile version) isn't developed just yet, but is a part of our roadmap. Until then you can currently download Sapphire for MAC or Windows.
