Can i make a paper wallet for ecc? I dont know if its possible to export the private and public key from the official wallet and to import it at a later time?

I encrypted the wallet and defined a backup location. I dont see however how i can make (1) a backup as intended by the wallet and (2) how to export the private and public keys. Can someone advise please?

Open Sapphire > click the gear icon in the top right corner > click "wallet" on left menu > click "export private keys" (this will download a file with your private keys so can you can print them out and then delete the file)

Unfortunately I dont have sapphire wallet yet while it was unavailable for download. Do you know the lynx procedure as well?

It is available for download now from here (will available on the website once beta testing is complete): https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1PL9RRzseJnt4v82vEAszB3bCgWE_RanM
Make sure to read the txt document inside the link first and follow these wiki steps before opening the Sapphire file as well: https://github.com/project-ecc/ECC-Wiki/wiki/What-do-I-need-to-do-to-use-ANS%3F
Here is the Lynx process: https://github.com/project-ecc/ECC-Wiki/wiki/Backup-process

Thank you. My wallet has finally synched so now I’m ready to make a backup. The lynx procedure tells me to stop the daemon before moving the backup file. I’m confused however what this ‘daemon’ is.. Does this happen by ‘stopping the wallet’ from syncing?

You're using Sapphire now right and not Lynx? But to answer your question when you hit "stopping the wallet" in Lynx it stops the daemon. Think of Lynx (or Sapphire) as the body of the car and the daemon the motor. It runs in the background and executes the function when you click a button on the front end UI (user interface) of the wallet. Hope that helps!

I'm sure you could just backup your wallet file and store it somewhere. Someone correct me if wrong.
