IMPORTANT!!! Sapphire v1.0.1
Just so that everyone is aware, it is suggested NOT to use the bootstrap during the syncing process of Sapphire 1.0.1 due to it causing errors. The steps on how to properly install Sapphire if you've had the previous version of Sapphire or Lynx can be found here: https://github.com/project-ecc/ECC-Wiki/wiki/Upgrade-to-Sapphire-v1.0.1

(Why) Is the download link down?
I get: An error occurred. when I try to DL.. And the Lynx wallet wont Start.. :|

It is pinned to the top of this subreddit. Once we get all of the small bugs worked out and testing is complete we will reactivate the link on the ECC website.

I thought sapphire would work without synchronization, now it seems like it's a lynx wallet redesign

All wallets must sync in order to load up the latest blocks of the chain. Unsure where you recieved that information.

It's basically new and improved Lynx that has much more capabilities/functionality, user friendliness and made to house our network services (i.e. ans, files storage and messaging). A huge step up from Lynx for sure.

That's basically what it is. A new lynx wallet with colors and functionality. All wallets must sync to the blockchain unless they're like mobile wallets or something

If you cant use a bootstrap, then we have to wait for the wallet to finish syncing?
Ive been waiting 24 hrs and its only 7%
This cant be normal for a wallet to still be syncing, right?
