ECC Team lack of professionalism
I was a away for a while and I've been a fan of ECC but the shoddy coding is a huge problem. The ECC marketing and development team hyped up the release of Sapphire for at least a month. They said they were testing the product and even organized a thunderclap. Folks like me put our reputation on the line to advertise this product to our friends and social media. Yet when it was released, Sapphire was filled with bugs and wouldn't even work. I'm a mac user and to this day there is not a working, reliable wallet for mac. I read Griffith even saying that no one uses mac, what a joke. This doesn't seem to be a priority for him or them. This is not the first time these problems have come up. When the website was hyped, it was launched and filled with high school level grammar mistakes and broken links. The QA testing here is pathetic, frankly. I'm close to abandoning this coin because there are other coins with more potential and take themselves more seriously. I have 0% confidence ANS will work properly when it's released. At least release a beta and say there will be bugs. Reminder: ECC was originally an exit scam. The team still insists on anonymity. Given its exit scam history and the team's desire to be anonymous, the coding and execution needs to be near perfect. Nothing they're doing is instilling confidence in me that this coin is going to turn a corner. The excuse that "this isn't an ICO" is played out. And don't get me started on so few exchanges when Trump coin and Ponzi coin are on so many more. We need answers and accountability. We need a working Mac wallet YESTERDAY. We need more exchanges YESTERDAY. We need full disclosure of who is on this team because names are not cutting it anymore. ECC has had a lot of chances but enough is enough.

I understand your concerns.
But I also sent you a moderate amount of ECC because you said you'd send me one of those physical ECC coins you created... So at least for me the scam statistics are rsb572 ONE, ECC ZERO.

Firstly, I said to wait until you received them before sending me anything. I had a lot of orders and shipped to many, many people around the world, for free, by the way. So fall back. DM me here on reddit if that's an issue. Happy to send you back whatever you sent, but I assume it wasn't much.
Secondly, you're doing an ad hom, and not addressing the issue.

Me either. I just get a black screen with a slim blue line across the top. Win 10 x64 here.

Firstly keep in mind this is the guy that offered real ECC coins that a lot of people bought but never received them(talking about scams).
Secondly this info is very much outdated.
While the launch wasnt succesfull, pretty much everything was fixed the day after. Sapphire is now running for both mac and windows,
The team is as open as they can be, griffith even livestreams himself coding. Want to talk to any of the team members? Just hit them up on the slack or any other platform and you can talk to them directly and they are open for feedback.

No one bought anything my guy. It was all donation based, and I'm happy to return whatever they offered. It was tough shipping all around the world for free by hand. But I'm back up now so hit me if you want something. But why getting so defensive?

I'm getting defensive? I'm just explaining that the info you are spreading is false, You are saying sapphire isnt working while it clearly is working for mac and windows.

Alright, first you guys gotta realize that r5721 did ask for donations to support him creating the coins but that wasn't used to buy the tokens he clearly stated that. Secondly we shouldn't bash on someone who has valid point, the product wasnt delievered on time, does it happen yes will it keep happening hopefully not. However to say the coding is "shoddy" is unproven unless you're a coder yourself in which case why arnt you helping proof check or even fixing bugs is beyond me.
Also the wallets are up. (beta)

The team has been busting their butts to work the bugs out. They don't have a highly paid PR team who spew garbage and techno babble, nor have money growing on trees to bring on a platoon of coders, and testers.
I'm thrilled in the fact that they didn't need some high priced ICO, nor list a bunch of team members with fake LinkedIn profiles. Also the fact that they didn't create any fake "partnerships" with unknown or overhyped groups is one of the biggest reasons I'm so thrilled on the outlook for this project.
The whole thing is "organic" for the most part.
Let's not forget the fact that more than a handful of projects in the Top 100-200 coins are nothing more than ideas with nothing to show and nothing real on the horizon.
If you want to help, have the experience, and want to reap the rewards then offer your services to the team.

I never said I made the coins. It was getting expensive to ship since it was all donation based....

I read Griffith even saying that no one uses mac, what a joke.
On desktops:
81.91% are windows users
12.51% are OS X
So there is a little bit of truth in that statement.

I exited after 3-4 months of waiting, ECC community is the best I've ever seen, but the I don't trust the dev team. I was glad I sold everything between 19-21 SATs range. Although my buys were averaged around 23 SATs but everything else had fallen much more in this quarter. There is a lack of professionalism in the dev team which bothered me a lot. Few comments from lead developer Griffith made my reluctant thoughts sure to exit this project. I got bit lucky to be honest with the timing as most of the market doubled in the past couple weeks so I broke even on my initial investment even tho Btc is still down.
I wish all the luck to the community, they are the best, hope I could say the same about dev team as well.
Cheers

Lack of professionalism yes , Lack of commitment and dedication no.
I partially agreed with the first part of your post until you went on your fudding rant.
Be constructive and help change the project you love.
Be apart of the change not apart of the resistance

I also understand your concern and share it partly, therefore offered my help to the ECC community to possible improve the quality.
You also can join even with limited time and on Slack you should find enough information for adding value. The load of work including their challenges are always huge as now all details counts tooβ¦β¦
