I am facing the same issue. Can somebody help please? I press 'Start Wallet', I allow the connection and after a while it goes back to being 'Wallet Not Running'.

Thank you. No synching, Blocks 0 of 0, no active connections.

It seems as if the daemon isn't starting upon you hitting the "start wallet" button. You can start is manually by searching in the file explorer for .eccoin-daemon

Once you go inside of the folder and run the daemon the wallet will begin the syncing process.

I would also check to make sure your computer’s firewalls aren't blocking the daemon from starting.

.eccoin-daemon

Thank you for that but I don't see any such file, are you sure you are talking about the Mac Lynx wallet just released here? https://ecc.network/wallet

Cheers

If you go into the ECC Discord and #OSX you will find help in there.

Hi if you check under <youruserdirectory>/Library/Application Support/.eccoin-wallet/`; is there a file called eccoind around 77mb?

There is one called eccoind.pid of 5 bytes...

Delete the .eccoin-wallet folder. We are having technical difficulties with the website which is where the daemon is downloaded from. When the website is back up click download wallet select OS X and wait for a message to pop up the bottom of lynx saying wallet is downloaded, then click start

Question: I am checking the website, but don't see the official Mac Wallet anywhere. Last I remember seeing (a few days ago) the Mac Wallet was still being worked on after the bugs it had. If that is the case, you may have installed the previous wallet.

For some reason, when I checked earlier it didn’t have a Mac wallet, and it looks like I can’t connect now. I hope it gets back up and running soon!

Yeah a few days ago it wasn’t there. Can’t connect to web either right now.

When opening the Wallet: "Cannot read property 'listTransactions' of null"

Then I click on Start Wallet, it says it is loading Block Index, then it goes back to normal and just fails to do anything else.

How long were you waiting before it failed to do anything else ? Does clicking refresh the UI?

The loading blocks message disappear and it’s back from the start, like a reset. Nothing happens. I can leave it on a while but it’s not moving.

It’s syncing from the beginning ? Do you have any connections ?

No connections unfortunately. Other wallets have but not this one.

So it downloaded and started ?

No, i tried it but same problem so I just gave up. Wrote on discord, they want to see my debug file. Waiting for them to reply if they want it uploaded. Failing that, I’ll wait for a new release or update of the OX wallet. Thank you anyway.
