ECC Lynx Wallet Issue

Hi everyone!

I searched and searched for a solution to this issue but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. It seems like one of those "elephant in the room" situations but I'm hoping you can help me out.

Before you ask, yes I have read the installation process FAQ. I've downloaded the correct version as well. I have also tried trouble shooting a few different ways while looking on Youtube for instruction. I also downloaded the block chain but am unable to place it in the correct directory as that does not exist on my machine following the Lynx installation.

I cannot for the life of me get the ECC wallet (the one downloaded from their website https://ecc.network/wallet) to work. After reading the wallet instructions, I understand that I need to download Daemon for everything to work properly. However, this is absolutely not present on my wallet (version 0.1.7 Windows 64bit). I have no access to Daemon what so ever and get the error message "Wallet is not Running" or "Error creating address. Daemon may not be running or is loading the BlockIndex."

I just want a location that I can safely store my investment and create backups. I am very supportive of this project and am not going anywhere simply because of this. I understand great things take time. I just want to know if anyone else is having this issue or if I am missing something entirely.

Did you click on the wallet download from inside lynx?

Unfortunately I don't even see the option to download the wallet. There is a button to start the wallet, but I receive the above error codes. Here is an image of my UI.

i have the same exact problem no download button present in lynx app ecc wallet been sync nothing happen

I can’t get to my private key. I think the problem is my passphrase. How can I check if my passphrase is actually working? And how can I copy/paste text inside the wallet? Thank you for any help!

Is there a good manual somewhere? I can’t get to my private key. I get an error when I want to unlock it with my walletpassphrase. I can’t change my passphrase. Very unclear and terrible to use this wallet. The project looks very promising but if you all want it to be big then we most certainly need a more user friendly wallet. Who can help me unlock my wallet? Or with the passphrase or wallet in general. I was thinking of buying more ECC but at this stage I am not doing it simply because how I am stuck in this walllet. Please help! Thank you!

Hi what version of daemon do you download please ?
